While the fitness principles are the same as the Bow Classic®, the smaller size of the Steel-Bow allows you to target specific muscle groups, much like you would with a Dumbbell, allowing faster, more precise results. The Steel-Bow allows for more routines to be performed, especially those involving Iso-Motion®, where you move through your natural range of motion while exercising your muscles.

SUCCESS STORIES
What people are saying about the Steel Bow
“Purchased a steel bow because for certain exercises were a bit hard and figured a shorter model would help with that. It definitely did. Great construction and the new improved handles are a game changer. Very happy with my purchase and recommend to people who want a way to exercise at home.”
“The Steel Bow is a solid piece of equipment. I have long had a home gym and frankly have no desire to go to a commercial gym. My job requires travel and the Steel Bow fits right in my luggage. A fast and intense workout is available anytime. The Steel Bow is solidly built and contains enough varied resistance springs to provide even the strongest person with a solid workout. Try one! You won’t be disappointed!“
“This is the one of the finest total body fitness equipment out there. I don’t have extra time for gym so in search of an alternative I found Bullworker and since then it has become my best friend. Bullworker products are awesome and there is no doubt it will benefit anyone who invest in Bullworker products.”

Great all purpose piece of exercise equipment. Functions as a mini-gym. I actually find I get a better workout with this than I did when I was working with weights in the gym. Quite economical when you consider the cost of dumb bells and barbells these days. Lent one to my son, but he wouldn’t give it back to me. So, I had to buy another. Well worth it.

I’m a record holding powerlifter and have included the bullworker in my training for over 30 years. I’ve found that it is great not only for building muscle but for building stabilizing strength for my benchpress. I was able to compete at an elite status well into my 50’s and attribute much of that success and longevity to my years of training with the Bullworker. I highly recommend getting one.

Started with the Classic Bow 48 years ago and have been using the Steel Bow for the past 4 years. Now in my 70s I find the Steel Bow easier to use and it gives me better results. As an added bonus , it’s compact size has encouraged my wife to start using it. The workouts give us additional strength ,good muscle definition and a strong core. We take the Steel Bow when we travel to maintain our daily workouts. The customer service and support from Chrisman has been greatly appreciated.

Started using the Bullworker in the mid 1960’s to tone up for Gymnastics and have used it one and off for these many years. I recently got the Bow and at age 70 it is ideal, I am building muscle and now in better shape after heart surgery. Bullworker is a great fitness tool.

I purchased my first Bullworker in 1977. I used it on a non regular basis for 2 or 3 years but I FIRMLY believed in the principle behind it. Due to all the things going on in my early 20,s I lost track of my Bullworker. Fastforward 40 years. I rediscovered the new Bullworker Classic and the Steel Bow. I am now 64 years and spent the last two months kicking ass 3 plus times a week. It is very enjoyable using the tools to build myself up to a point I haven’t been to in many years! Just remember vary your routine occasionally to, as Arnold said, keep your muscles guessing! I feel great! Happy workouts!

I purchased one of the original Bullworker series in the 1970s. I did not use this extensively then. I moved from Canada to New Zealand and left this behind. For decades I used free weights. I then purchased the Bullworker X5 about ten years ago. I clever design with the nylon straps that allowed you to increase the range of movement and tension by selecting the straps. This still did not allow for adjustment on compression of the springs. The X-5 was supplemental to the weights but did not use it much.
Years ago, I had to abandon dead lifts and squats due to arthritis changes in my back. When where and how bad you develop arthritic degenerative changes is a genetic trait that will eventually develop in most people when the get older. I am now 68 yrs old. I still use free weights combined with a Swiss ball, but the Bullworker X-5 was in the closet.
I then saw that that newer models now had five interchangeable springs and came in a compact version. I did more research on the benefits of isometric training. Yes, you can get stronger, but only within the limited angle of the contraction. The weights allowed for tension in a wider range of movement. I thought that with the steel bow, and the interchangeable springs I could adjust the tension for individual exercises in the same way that you adjust weights. Changing springs would allow for tension on a fuller range of movements and angles. Newer publications by Marlon Birch outlined a program showing the exercises and step up workouts to push the muscles into metabolic failure.
I ordered the Steel Bow as this would supplement the X-5. I found that the exercises would work out more varied muscle groups than was possible with weights alone. There were even leg workouts that were not possible with weights. I still do squats with dumbbells and Swiss Ball for Quads, and Swiss ball alone for hamstrings. My workouts are now 70% Bullworker and 30% weights, and the combination is better than weights alone. I do 50 minutes and 30 minutes alternate days and one rest day a week. I have done this now for 6 weeks, and I can tell the gains. At 68 I feel I can continue this regime for years, and a way that weights alone cannot.
After checking some journals or high intensity interval training, doing his 23 minutes once a week is almost as effective as three times a week, so I could probably back of the number of sessions without loosing results.
One of the disabilities of getting older is getting weaker, a condition called sarcopenia. This can certainly be slowed down with proper strength training and nutrition. Researching several journals also shows strength training improves cognitive executive function of the brain (even in mice).
There is less chance of injury with the Bullworker with the caveat not to push to 100% tension (easy to do) or you will overstress your tendons. This is always mentioned in the instructions. When done correctly you do a get real workout.

I’ve worked out for 45 or more years now. A friend introduced me to the BullWorker in the 1980’s. I was absolutely delighted to have seen your advertising two years or so ago and without hesitation purchased the BullWorker Bow Classic, Steel Bow, IsoBow and accessories. I can personally testify that the BullWorker Bow Classic, Steel Bow, IsoBow and accessories are truly remarkable products and strongly recommended them to supplement any athlete’s or home enthusiast’s fitness program.
Thank you for these incredible products!
Sincerely,
Ed F.
